Is it really free to self-host?
Yes. Running Tinbox for your own organization's mail (any number of inboxes, domains, and teammates) is free on your own Cloudflare account. You pay only your own Cloudflare usage, which for a typical small team rounds to $0/mo.
Then what am I paying for with the lifetime license?
The readable source code, yours to audit and modify, plus priority updates, early access, and a direct support channel. The free build already includes commercial use for your own organization and every product capability.
It's one payment — how do updates and support keep coming?
Steadily, by design. Each new license funds the next round of work, so the project pays for itself as it grows — no subscription treadmill, and no version we hold back to force a re-buy. Updates ship to every license holder, and you take them on your schedule. The full readable source also lets you maintain and adapt your deployment directly.
Can you build it for us?
Yes, that's the Done-for-you plan. We'll design rich inbox views and components that fit your product, wire skills and agents into your business logic, and automate the workflows you run by hand today: triage, routing, replies, and migrations. Scope and price are bespoke; tell us what you need and we'll put together a plan.
Why a lifetime license instead of a subscription?
Because the whole point is that you own your stack — it runs independently on your account. A subscription would contradict that. The AI runs on your keys, so there's no recurring inference cost for us to pass on. One payment, yours for life, no vendor in the path of your mail. (Nobody else pairs a lifetime license with agentic AI — bring-your-own-keys is what lets the price be one-time.)
What if it's not for me?
There's a safety net. If the license isn't a fit, request a full refund within 14 days and we'll sort it out — see the refund terms. And you don't have to decide on faith: self-hosting is free forever, so you can run the whole stack on your own account and try it before you ever pay.
I'm an agency, can I sell Tinbox to my clients?
Please do, that's exactly what the partner program is for: refer clients and earn a recurring cut, while you handle the build. Operating deployments for clients on their own accounts, or shipping it white-labeled, is the OEM track — just a quick conversation to set up. Running it for your own company's mail is always free.
Will the price go up?
The first 100 licenses are $149. After that, the standard one-time price is $249. The license never renews.
